Smith Family

One of the greatest gifts God could ever prepare for someone is a family! I LOVE the verse that states "every good and perfect gift comes from above" James 1:17 it is so true! A family is as stated on my blog picture, one of life's greatest blessings! What, where, or who would we be without family?

My family started young...too young, but looking back it had to have been part of "the plan." I graduated highschool a year early, had a child, married, and have had the privelege of NEVER having to clock in on a job since all that. The job I had (recently played out) consisted of caring for an elderly lady. I would have NEVER in a thousand years thought I would have spent 4 years of my life doing that!!! The crazy thing is I LOVED it and miss it a ton! I miss helping fix food, helping with showers, laundry, making the bed...sounds crazy LOL...but that was "me" that's what I now know I want to pursue. During that time I did some classes at Hinds to go into nursing. Well, that lasted about a year...and now later down the road I wanna go back. I would love to do travel nursing, but with 2 kids and wanting 3 (want a girl!) that won't be anytime soon, however it is something I wanna do in the future. Which by the way I do have literally the 2 most gorgeous, blonde haired, blue eyed boys in the whole entire world! My husband is a DSC at Cell South and hates his job! We are very thankful he has a good job, but I mean why can't everyone make a living doing what they like? His heart is in law enforcement and hopefully he will be able to go back, but the pay is just terrible! It's not all about the money, but hey when the other spouse isn't working you gotta live. As of now I am at home 24/7 with the kids and my husband works sun up to sun down and I feel like I hardly ever see or talk to him unless it Sunday, and even then we are rushing around each other. We recently bought a house, both vehicles are messed up, ummm...yea, we are pretty much a normal family and YES every family has issues so don't let someone try and trick ya.
